The capacity of the carafe is ten 5-ounce cups or 50-ounces. The reusable GoldTone filter is eco-friendly， eliminating the need for paper filters. If you would like you can use paper filters for a brighter tasting cup of coffee. An extra-large showerhead provides total saturation of the ground coffee during the brewing cycle. Improve your coffee’s taste with the included charcoal water filter which removes 82% of impurities. The coffee maker will remind you to replace the water filter every 60 pots of coffee.
